Tayo Ayinde Biography

On August 24, 1964, Tayo Akinmade Ayinde was born in Lagos’s Ikeja city’s Alausa area. In Alausa, Ikeja, at St. Peter’s Anglican Primary School, he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. He went to primary school there. After attending Ogudu Grammar School in Ojota, Lagos, he also earned his West African School Certificate. He received his degree from this college.

Wife Death

The chief of staff to the governor of Lagos State, Mr. Tayo Ayinde, received condolences from Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, on the passing of Tayo Ayinde’s wife, Adedoyin Ayinde.

Ayinde, a member of the Oniru royal family, died on Sunday at the age of 36 after a comparatively brief illness.

The governor described the passing as a significant tragedy, not only for the families of Ayinde and Ojora but also for the state, in a statement that was released on Monday by Sanwo-Chief Olu’s press secretary, Mr. Gboyega Akosile.

He said: “I offer my condolences to my Chief of Staff, Mr. Tayo Ayinde, on the passing of his beloved wife, Princess Adedoyin Raliat Ayinde, on behalf of my family, my cabinet, the Lagos State administration, and the people of Lagos State.”
